END OF YEAR SHOW!!
These are some photos i have taken of our final show. I enjoyed our show as their was an exciting range in style of the work and was really eye catching. We had a good turnout on who visited the show and we got lots of positive feedback. I liked the print of my type poster, the colours were spot on and im sure it grabbed peoples attention.
Website Design
These are some screenshots of my website i have been working on. I went for a vectorised outcome using personal objects that relate to graphic design. I used a cutting mat as my background, a sketchbook as the workspace and i used a marker, a mac and a phone as my buttons. When the objects are rolled over the reveal the name of the button, the marker represents about me, the mac is for my work and cell phone is my contact info. I like the outcome of my website because of the clean vectors i have used making it very clean.

Final Show
This week has been all about our final show and brochure. We have been collecting our best bits of work to finalise and tweak them to be presentable for our final show. We are making our own brochure to promote our final show and will contain our personal info and samples of our work. Our group has been working hard putting the show together and getting the show room painted and prepared. These are a some of the pieces ill be showcasing at the show.

Chef Lu
For my FMP im doing the packaging for a jerk chicken meal kit so i decided gather all the ingredients and cooked the whole meal to take these pictures. The meal tasted quite well and looked really nice on the plate. I didn't have some a lot of traditional ingredients so i couldn't cook the famous rice 'n' peas. I used yellow rice which i think made it more colorful and appetizing.
Artist inspiration_Niark ONE
Sebastian Feraut aka Niark one is a freelance graphic designer/ freelancer based in Paris France. He has worked for many international clients and has inspired me with the work hes done for Malibu rum. His surface graphics for the Malibu rum were really attractive and exciting. He used different stylized objects that represent Malibu rum and gave them bright warm and cool colors to make it visually exciting. His stylized objects were done quite loosely and freely but compact together to give it a dense and busy vibe which is quite fun. I want to make a packaging for my FMP in this style but to promote a jerk chicken meal kit similar to the popular kits done by Old El Paso. I think this style would be quite fun and attractive to promote jerk chicken.

HND Interview
Last week friday i had an interview for a Higher
National Diploma in Graphic Design and Advertising at Canterbury College. It was an informal interview so it wasnt very tense or difficult and i think it went realy well. I sort of mumbled and slirred on a few questions but think it was still a good interview. I thought they were going to go through my entire portfolio but they asked me to show them two pieces of work which one was my favourite and another which I didnt like as much.
