Artist inspiration_Niark ONE
Sebastian Feraut aka Niark one is a freelance graphic designer/ freelancer based in Paris France. He has worked for many international clients and has inspired me with the work hes done for Malibu rum. His surface graphics for the Malibu rum were really attractive and exciting. He used different stylized objects that represent Malibu rum and gave them bright warm and cool colors to make it visually exciting. His stylized objects were done quite loosely and freely but compact together to give it a dense and busy vibe which is quite fun. I want to make a packaging for my FMP in this style but to promote a jerk chicken meal kit similar to the popular kits done by Old El Paso. I think this style would be quite fun and attractive to promote jerk chicken.

HND Interview
Last week friday i had an interview for a Higher
National Diploma in Graphic Design and Advertising at Canterbury College. It was an informal interview so it wasnt very tense or difficult and i think it went realy well. I sort of mumbled and slirred on a few questions but think it was still a good interview. I thought they were going to go through my entire portfolio but they asked me to show them two pieces of work which one was my favourite and another which I didnt like as much.

Page Turner Competition - Multicolourcultural
This is a piece I done for the Page Turner competition. The theme for the competition was 'Nothing In The World But Youth', the piece had to show what life is like as a teenager. So I made a type piece by filling the shape of the world with the theme boldly inside it. I named it 'multicolourcultural' because I filled the world with different words of activities and phrases that represented life as a teen.

Type Project- NEW VINTAGE TYPE
For our current project we are creating a poster for a typographical book which we have to choose from a given list. I was looking through the list and i like the New Vintage Type book cover. It is covered in random sized vintage type in different colours. It also has some patterns framing the book title.
